We offer a convenient online hemming service for most Bay Bridal gowns, carried out by our trusted local seamstress.
This is an optional service. When we send out your gown, we will include a personalised hemming quote for each dress should you wish to have it professionally altered.

How our online hemming service works:
Your gown is shipped to you first. Inside your parcel, you will receive a personalised hemming quote for each dress. If you would like to proceed, simply submit your request through our returns portal.
How it works
- Go to our returns portal and submit a return request
- Select your order and clearly note: “Hemming Request”
- We include a prepaid return bag and label with your order
- We provide a personalised hemming quote for your gown
- If you choose to proceed, payment is required before work begins
- Provide your measurements or mark your dress using fabric chalk
- Your gown is professionally hemmed within 4 working days
- It is returned to you via free overnight courier
Measurement guide
- Long gowns: Shoulder to hem (cm). Measure from the shoulder seam to your desired hem length at the back. The gown will be hemmed evenly all the way around.
- Infinity dresses: Waist to hem (cm)
- Important: Please take measurements while wearing the shoes you intend to wear on the day.
You may also try the dress on and mark your preferred length using fabric chalk.
Turnaround time
Once approved, payment is received, and the returned gown is received, your gown will be professionally hemmed within 4 working days.
We then return your gown via free overnight courier.
